LS Cable tractors are becoming increasingly popular in the U.S. and European markets. Tractor operations grow by more than 30% in the overseas markets every year
The Jeonju plant of LS Cable, which was transferred in 2005, is the best plant for farming equipment in Korea. It has a manufacturing ability of 20 thousand units, state-of-the-art assembly and coating lines, laboratories, and testing facilities. LS Cable is becoming a global tractor manufacturer due to its expanded investment in manufacturing facilities, technology development and talent cultivation.
Air – Conditioning
The Air-Conditioning Unit Division of LS Cable is the leading division in the refrigerator and air-conditioner industry and has led technology development and the establishment of industry standards.
The Gas Heat Pump (GHP), localized by continued R & D for the first time in Korea in 2005, obtained the NEP certification, also for the first time in Korea. LS Cable is making every effort to develop core technologies.
Injection Molding
The Injection Molding Device Division of LS Cable is the leading division of its kind in Korea. It completed the construction of a plant in China in 2005 to join the top 10 in the world. The plant successfully mass produces its products along with the Jeonju plant constructed in 2006.
The division develops high-speed, highly functional, and highly reliable products that can use highly functional parts such as LCD, sheets, and multi-color, multi-material parts to ensure reliability for its customers. It is doing its best to secure core technologies such as control technologies appropriate for hybrids or highly functional forming technologies as well as optimal analysis technologies linked with 3D CAD.
Electromotive injection molding devices, on the market since 2002, vary depending on their weight, ranging from 30t to 300t. Larger-sized devices have been developed as future-oriented products. As for extra-large injection molding devices that have global competency, a device of 4,500t was developed and sold in 2005, following the trends of the vehicle and electric appliance industries.
Track shoes
The defense division of LS Cable is making track shoes for combat vehicles. The division started defense business in 1974 and was designated as military business company with sole supply for Korean armed forces. We have exported to many friendly countries and enjoyed good reputation for quality.
We have developed various type of track shoes such as K200,K55,K1A1,Next Infantry Fight Vehicle for Korean armed forces and M113, M109, M60 for overseas. Nowadays, New Main Battle Tank for Korean army is on development. LS Cable defense division has been doing our best to meet customers' requirement with constant development as well as improvement in quality.
